Chase Slate – True 0% Interest

Chase just created a version of their slate card that allows for 15 months of 0% interest on balance transfers (and purchases) with NO TRANSFER FEE (most 0% cards charge 3%, making their rate, really, well, 3%+). Note that you must initiate the transfer within a limited time.

Note: after the end of the intro period, credit card interest rates are generally very high. Please ensure that you have a solid plan to repay the card at the end of the zero interest period before taking on this debt. I would only recommend using introductory offers to 1) play the “float” game by investing the loan into safe assets such as FDIC insured CD’s or 2) to pay off high interest rate loans such as other credit card debt.
