Tamarindo Night Market
Every Thursday there is a night market in Tamarindo where the whole town seems to come for a party. By April of 2021, they have reopened “post-covid”. The vendors are required to wear masks for the community’s safety, but don’t expect the same from the attendees. I highly recommend being fully vaccinated before attending the night market. You will primarily come here for the food, but there is also some shopping and entertainment.
As you get to the top of the stairs, you will find my favorite food vendor. I loved their empanadas and they had a great veggie lasagna. They also had pizza, meat lasagna, pulled pork sandwiches and more.
They have a bunch of other food options at different vendors including arepas, many types of empanadas, and more.
I didn’t spend much time shopping, but certainly stop by the jewelry vendor who is appropriately named Jade.
They had a hungarian dancer there that night and tons of little kids enjoying the entertainment.
It officially runs 6p-9p, but seems to go a tad later.
The night market is in the same plaza as Tamarindo Fitness.
