Palermo Cocktail Bar & Restaurant – Liberia, Costa Rica

Note that this was from our trip in 2012, some information may be out of date; at the time, $1 was apx 500 colones

We chanced upon Palermo restaurant in downtown Liberia (Costa Rica). Wow, what an amazing find. Their garlic seafood dish may go among my top 25 dishes ever. At first we were a bit worried since they had English menus and the prices seemed a bit high for a middle income country, but the food was utterly amazing and the prices were way below bad casual dining in the US.

We split the Seafood Palermo for $13 that seemed to have pounds of seafood in an amazing sauce along with some sides. This was more than enough for my wife and I.
